SOME Chapter Member Exhibit, including entries for the Marvis Cohen Award will be open for public viewing at the Cliff House on Saturday, April 29 10-5 and Sunday, April 30 10-2.  We hope that family, friends and those of you who could not attend seminar might be interested in this exhibit of member work.   Chair Stephanie Upton has included a special exhibit of "Seaside" themed embroidery to go along with the original embroidery pieces that shall be voted on to receive the Marvis Cohen Award.    There is no charge for viewing the exhibit.

Fifth Teaser Project – Starfish Scissors Fob

SOME Chapter is happy to provide the fifth teaser project for Shell We Stitch?, NER Seminar 2017.
Denise Harrington Pratt of Amaryllis Artworks has designed a sweet, little starfish scissors fob as the fifth in the series of teaser projects.
These projects are in anticipation of NER Seminar 2017, which will be hosted by SOME Chapter at the beautiful Cliff House Resort in Oqunquit, Maine.                                                     

5. Scissors Fob Front.

A kit for this project is available for $12 plus $6.75 priority mail postage. The kit includes all supplies needed to complete the project; instructions, linen, silk threads, fusible interfacing, needle, and decorative sand. (Fray-Stop and Scissors not included)

A Reservation link is now in place for room registration for Seminar 2017 at The Cliff House. The following is the information and the link. The Cliff House would like those booking a room with breakfast to call the hotel directly. Please mention NER EGA Seminar 2017. Friday April 28, 2017 ~ Departing Sunday April 30th 1 Night Room charge at time of booking 14 Day cancel policy, cancellations within 14 days of arrival, deposit is nonrefundable. Resort Fee of $5 per room per night. Room with breakfast for two $144, for each additional person there is a $7.50 charge. Please call the hotel directly to book these accommodations.
If you are a single person in the room please let them know.  They are trying to get single king rooms added to the block. The rooms will easily accommodate 3 or 4 persons if you have a group of friends and would like to share the expense. The Reservation link is as follows
